The Jefferson Police Department utilizes a number of resources throughout our day-to-day operations.  Below you will find a list of some resources that we use should you need to contact them directly.

Jackson County Sheriff's Office

 

Any individual arrested by the Jefferson Police Department is housed at the Jackson County Jail.  Visit this website for information in regards to any inmate currently housed at the jail.

Peace Place, Inc.

 

Peace Place, Inc. is a domestic violence program that serves survivors of family violence in Banks, Barrow, and Jackson counties in Georgia.

Towing & Impound

 

The Jefferson Police Department uses a list of local towing services.  If you are trying to locate a vehicle that was towed or impounded for any reason, check our list of wrecker services to locate your vehicle.

Georgia Department of Public Safety

 

For information on up-to-date traffic laws or for contact information on the Georgia State Patrol.

Georgia Department of Driver Services

 

DDS enables every licensed driver to create a secure, personal DDS online account. You may use your account for many purposes that will allow you to skip or streamline a visit to one of our offices.

The Tree House, Inc.

 

The mission of The Tree House is to strengthen communities by reducing the occurrence and impact of child abuse through counseling, educating, supporting and nurturing children and families in Barrow, Banks, and Jackson counties.

 

Piedmont Rape Crisis Center

 

The Piedmont Rape Crisis Center is the sole resource of all sexual violence related matters for adults (ages 18+) in Barrow, Jackson, and Banks Counties.

 

Internet Crime Complaint Center

 

The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C).  The IC3 accepts online Internet crime complaints from either the actual victim or from a third party to the complainant.

 

Governor's Office of Highway Safety

 

The Mission of the Governor's Office of Highway Safety is to educate the public on traffic safety and facilitate the implementation of programs that reduce crashes, injuries, and fatalities on Georgia roadways.

The 32 inpatient rehab centers in Georgia offer a safe living environment for addiction recovery. They offer a variety of treatment types, and many inpatient programs can be individualized to provide the most relevant and effective care.
